How it works:
The POSA system uses a regular phone line to transmit the transaction to a central server using existing terminals at the merchants location.

Each store location’s POS terminal is programmed with a 1-800 number and the stores telephone number which identifies the store to the central server and responds accordingly.

   AFC provides a simple solution for offering prepaid wireless (cellular) by using a terminal with a printable receipt. This system allows retailers to active and print out PIN numbers. Printing a PIN number is simple. Enter a provided four digit cell code and four digit clerk ID. Wireless is available with AFC phone cards on the direct dial system.
